What's your story?
This is available in the About Us section
What's your purpose?
I've come to learn that to progress along the way to come unto Christ and become like Him, I needed to start back at the beginning with the most foundational doctrine. I realized that there still was so much for me to learn within the very basics of the gospel & Christ's plan to recover His people. This was exactly what I needed.
I realized that I'd been looking beyond the mark, and stumbling because I needed a firmer foundation in Christ first.
Honouring Eternal Life is all about giving this foundational doctrine the focus necessary so that we truly are built upon the rock. I'm finding that being built upon the rock protects us from deception, false teachings, from itching ears, and untrue ideas of the nature of God.
The way to Christ lived well brings us to the promise of Eternal Life. The way to Christ lived with additives and subtractions loses some of its effectiveness. God says these changes come of evil. I see how living an impure doctrine produces spiritual burnout and saints who become frustrated with God, and fall out of love with Him.
The amount of effort to come unto Him can't be wasted on a hamster wheel gospel. Honouring the doctrine Christ has declared as His gospel, that's proven to be redemptive and saving, is what we want to be about.
What's your intent?
To honour the Doctrine on Eternal Life as it's taught in scripture.
Also, since there are many scriptural warnings to not change this doctrine, we will be addressing potential changes to the doctrine for your consideration, with the invitation to align more fully with the Way of Life.
I know some with similar views to mine have left the church, and some others have faced church discipline for the same refocus on Christ I share here, which is ironic. I hope to continue to bring my family to church, and thankfully, I have very caring leaders who continue to see the good in me, and are good to our family.
What do you mean by Doctrine of Christ?
Christ's doctrine is taught all throughout scripture. It's called the Gospel and the Plan of Salvation, and the Ministry of Reconciliation and easily another 60 names or titles.
This Doctrine is the process taught to bring us from our fallen man state all the way to Eternal Life with God. This process is taught over and over again, using different descriptive language to explain the process, but I feel these descriptions are all testifying of the same one way:
-Faith in the plan Christ offers,
-Wanting to come into covenant with Him by turning away from our sinful state, and expressing this desire by our water baptism. Our water baptism is symbolic of laying down our past self and taking on a new life, alive in Christ.
-Receiving the Baptism of Fire and the Holy Ghost. This is an experience only Christ can produce for us. It is a theophany, a manifestation of God's power. This experience comes with a mighty change of heart, receiving His spirit. This is when we are brought into His covenant.
-We're then called to live by the guidance of this spirit, in a way that He can work through us. This is described as being His light, His disciple, manifesting Gifts of the Spirit, producing His good fruit, etc. This time of coming to know His voice, and submitting our will to Him continues to refine us, until His image is reflected in us.
-Christ gives us the promise of Eternal Life. This can happen in this life or the next, but this is the promise that we are joint-heirs with Christ, and that He's made us like Him.

Throughout posts and videos, I use "Doctrine of Christ," "Way to Christ" and "Way to Eternal Life" interchangeably, as these are all different names for this same doctrine.
Are you a business?
Nope, my Way to Christ project is available for free, and though friends have asked for it in book form, I'm trying to make it widely available for free, first. If I do make it into a book or cards as has been requested, I would sell it below cost. This project has been an wonderfully generous gift from God, I refuse to make it into a business.
